FRANKLIN - The Rev. Howard W. Southard, at the age of 91, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, after a brief period of declining health.

CHARLOTTE - Alice Louise McClaflin Parris, 79, died Dec. 28, 2019 at Brookdale Charlotte - East. She was born on Jan. 31, 1940 in Lorain County, Ohio to the late Horace and Florence McClaflin. 

FRANKLIN - Mrs. Carmen Helen Greene Jessup, 85, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019.

FRANKLIN - Florence Bates Stamey, 87, passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2019.

CLAYTON, GEORGIA - Winfred Julius Speed, 66, of the Warwoman community, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 23, 2019. 

GREENSBORO - Laura Cascaddan Byrd, 87, formerly of Franklin, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019.

FRANKLIN - Grace Angel Poindexter, 91, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Lex B. Angel and Candus Gibson Angel. 

FRANKLIN - Alice Ramona Freeman, 47, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019.
