FRANKLIN – F. B. Vinson Jr. passed into Glory on Nov. 12, 2019, at his home after a prolonged illness, with his children by his side.   F.B. Vinson was born on Jan. 15, 1931, in Macon County, to the late Franklin Brownlow and Eva Inez Vinson.  F.B.

Arthur W. Pitman

FRANKLIN - Arthur W. Pitman, 89, passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019. Born in Barnstead, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Fred T. Pitman and Harriet M. Lawrence Pitman.  Art was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War (1951-1955), attached to Strategic Air Command (SAC).

John S. Grant

FRANKLIN - John S. Grant, 79, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019.  Born in Chicago, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth Smith Grant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Grant.  John loved fishing and being the jokester of the family.

Sally Mae Clark Seay

FRANKLIN - Sally Mae Clark Seay, 84, passed away Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Clark and Launa Bradley Clark.

Royal Maurice Jones

FRANKLIN – Royal “Maurice” Jones, 82, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019. A native of Macon County, Mr. Jones was the son of the late Fred R. and Mary Alethia Buchanan Jones.

Charlotte Andrews Jones

FRANKLIN – Charlotte Andrews Jones, 90, of Franklin, passed away on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019. Born in Wytheville, Virginia, Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late William and Maud Kincer Andrews.

Eris Lillian Johnson Carlson

FRANKLIN - Eris Lillian Johnson Carlson, 94, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Eric Johnson and Sonja Asplund Johnson.

Gail Arlene Peterman

OTTO - Gail Arlene Peterman, 69, passed away Monday, Nov. 4, 2019.   A funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Newman Chapel Baptist Church, with the Revs. Ray Conner and Harvey Conner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
