  FRANKLIN - Charles Andrew Conley Jr, 89, passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019. Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Charles Conley Sr. and Lois Garner Conley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Kathleen Yonce Conley.

  FRANKLIN - Joyce Henson, 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019 at Skyland Care Center.  Born in Glenville, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Faye Broome Jennings.

Jeffery Alan Wood

FRANKLIN - Jeffery Alan Wood, 56, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019. Graveside service was held Saturday, Nov. 30 at Tellico Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Steve Reeves officiated. The family received friends prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home.

NANTAHALA - Marie W. Johnson passed away on June 16, 2019. A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, Dec. 7 at St. Cyprian’s Chapel on Roller Mill Road in Franklin. 

Brenda Louise Jacobs Conley

ANDREWS - Brenda Louise Jacobs Conley, 72, of Andrews passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019 in the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Andrews. The family will receive friends from 12-1:45 p.m. at the funeral home  prior to the services.

FRANKLIN - Sheryl “Elaine” Tillman, 71, passed away on Nov. 23, 2019.  Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec.1 at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery in Thonotosassa, Florida. Macon Funeral Home is handling the local arrangements.

Mary “Betty” Peek McCall

FRANKLIN - Mrs. Mary “Betty” Peek McCall, 90, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019.   A funeral service was held Wednesday, Nov. 27 in the chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Bishop officiating. Burial followed in the Sugar Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

FRANKLIN - Bobby M. McCall, 77, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019. Funeral service was held Monday, Nov. 25, in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Burial was in the Sugarfork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends Sunday, Nov. 24, at Macon Funeral Home.

FRANKLIN - Gavin James Bryan Johnson, 21, passed away Nov. 20, 2019.  A celebration of life for Gavin will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019 at Lake Glenville Public Beach. Bryant-Grant Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Johnson family.

Shirley Ann Houston Young

FIVE POINTS, ALABAMA - Mrs. Shirley Ann Houston Young, 75, passed away on Nov. 23, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Young was born on July 13, 1944 in Franklin to the late Beulon Calvin Houston, who died while serving in the Army during World War II, and Irene Mae Rogers Houston-Adams.
