FRANKLIN – Mr. Robert L. Lahmers, 93, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born June 21, 1927 in Reedurban, Ohio to the late Fredrick and Grace Horne Lahmers. He is also predeceased by his sisters, Ethel, Margaret, Jeanette and Nellie.

Bernice Moselle Keir

FRANKLIN – Bernice Moselle Keir (Welch), 94, passed peacefully from this life to her eternal home on Jan. 4, 2021, to join her beloved husband John to whom she was married for 71 years. A native of Waco Texas, she was the daughter of the late Addie and Frank Welch.

FRANKLIN – A. Jane Huffman, 77, passed away Jan. 3, 2021. She was born on Nov. 8, 1943 in Des Moines, Iowa, to the late Lucille and Jim Redman. Also preceding her in death was sister Jean Redman Kurtz. Mrs. Huffman graduated from Janesville Sr.

Pearl Angel Holland

FRANKLIN – Pearl Angel Holland, 88, went to her heavenly home on Jan. 3, 2021 after a period of declining health. A native of Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Cordie Gibson Angel.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, V.L.

Helen Jean Reed Henson

ASHEVILLE – Helen Jean Reed Henson, 89, passed away Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020 at the John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville. Helen was born Dec. 11, 1931 in Highlands to the late William Lester Reed and Pearl Frady Reed. She is also preceded in death by her husband, David E.

James William (Bill) Fuchs

FRANKLIN, NC – James William (Bill) Fuchs, 71, devoted husband and father of two passed away Jan. 8, 2021 after a brave battle with cancer.  He was born March 11, 1949 to Fred and Barbara Fuchs of Homestead, Florida.

Gay Eldridge Fouts

FRANKLIN – Gay Eldridge Fouts, 91, passed away on Jan. 4, 2021. A native of Macon County, he was the son of the late Ralph and Lola Holbrooks Fouts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Maude Fouts; sister, Palma Maslin; and brother, Dolpha Fouts.

Hristos Fotopoulos

Hristos Fotopoulos, 63, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.  Bryant-Grant Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the Fotopoulos family. 

Joseph Richman “Rich” Brooks, Jr.

FRANKLIN – Joseph Richman (Rich) Brooks, Jr. entered into eternal rest to join our Savior in Heaven on Dec. 19, 2020 at the age of 87. He was born in Bridgeton, New Jersey on June 28, 1933 to the late Joseph Richman and Bessie Abigail Brooks.

Jack Lee Bennett

FRANKLIN – Jack Lee Bennett joined his heavenly father on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020. He resided in Franklin and passed away at the Asheville Mission Hospital.  Jack was born on May 13, 1934, in La Grange, Georgia, and he grew up in Griffin, Georgia.
