FRANKLIN - Rickie Clebert Brown, 60, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019. A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Holly Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon prior to the service at the church.

FRANKLIN - Evelyn Marie Booth, 93, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019.  No services are planned at this time. Bryant-Grant Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Booth family.

Betty Jean Wood Houghton Moore

FRANKLIN - Betty Jean Wood Houghton Moore, 94, passed away in her home, surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019.  Born in Champaign County, Illinois, Betty was the daughter of the late Dewey and Inez Miller Wood of Huntington, Indiana.

Scott Frederick Grawey

FRANKLIN - Scott Frederick Grawey, 51, passed away Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019. Born in Waterford, Michigan, he was the son of Ivan Wishman and the late Becky Denniston Wishman. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Gravitt.

Fred Palmer Deal

Leasburg, North Carolina - Fred Palmer Deal, 85, of Leasburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019.  Born in Macon County, Mr. Deal was the son of the late Jake Palmer and Aver Watts Deal. He was a 1954 graduate from Franklin High School.

Nancy Calloway Callahan

FRANKLIN - Nancy Calloway Callahan, 87, passed away Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Henderson and Edythe Welch Calloway. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Troup “Hall” Callahan Jr.

Elizabeth “Beth” Thorndike

Ingeborg “Inge” Rompf

Franklin – Ingeborg “Inge” Rompf, 91, passed away at home on Monday, Oct. 14, 2019. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 in the chapel at Macon Funeral Home. Inge will be interred with her husband in the Memorial Garden at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Chevy Chase, Maryland.

Pamela “P.J.” Carpenter
