LINCOLNTON, NORTH CAROLINA – Cathy Jean Stouffer, 59, formerly of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late T.A. and Hallie Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Johnson.

Lloyd Alan Storer

FRANKLIN - Lloyd Alan Storer, 63, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019. Born in Dover Foxcroft, Maine, he was the son of the late Henry Storer and Betty McCarthy Patterson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennifer Storer and brother-in law, Dennis Daigle.

Robert “Bob” George Stager

FRANKLIN – Robert “Bob” George Stager, 79, passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019.   A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 8, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with Pastor John Makinson officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Carolyn Elizabeth Snyder

FRANKLIN – Carolyn Elizabeth Snyder, 68, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Lawson Buchanan Snyder and Charlotte Mason Snyder. Carolyn was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She enjoyed scrapbooking and crafts of all kinds.

Ingeborg “Inge” Rompf

Franklin – Ingeborg “Inge” Rompf, 91, passed away at home on Monday, Oct. 14, 2019. Born in Tauberbischofsheim, Germany, Inge was the daughter of Wilhelm and Charlotte Edinger and had one sister, Irene.

FRANKLIN – Jessie L. Tallent Flowers, 99, passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2019. Internment will be held at Shepherd Cemetery. Honoring Jessie’s wishes, no services are planned. Macon Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

John James Henshaw

  FRANKLIN – John James Henshaw, 78, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019. Born in Newport News, Virginia, he was the son of the late John James Henshaw Sr. and Lora Mae Noble Henshaw.  John was a US Air Force veteran.
