FRANKLIN - Kathy Ann Sanders, 60, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022. Born in Canyonville, Oregon, she was the daughter of the late James Clifton and Rose Marie Trankle Sanders. Kathy lived most of her life in Macon County and was a CNA.

Thomas O’Brien

FRANKLIN - Thomas James O’Brien, 64, passed away on Friday, Jan. 28, 2021. Born in Coral Gables, Florida, he was the son of the late James Mathew and Dorothy Inman O’Brien. Mr. O’Brien managed the “Round House at the State Line” and had previously worked at Taco Bell and Burger King.

Christian McConnell

FRANKLIN - Christian Hunter McConnell, 24, went home to be with Jesus on Jan. 26, 2022, after putting up a courageous battle with his illness. Macon Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

John Halman, Sr.

FRANKLIN - John “Leonard” Halman Sr. of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Dec. 3, 2021, at the age of 91. He was born April 6, 1930, in Mason City, Iowa to Frank E. & Eva Stephens Halman.

CANTON, GEORGIA - Jill Rae Hall (nee Bell), 62, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep into the hands of God on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022. She was born on Aug. 14, 1959, in Valparaiso, Indiana, to Marvin and Patsy Bell. She was born into a Christian home and was raised in the Baptist faith.

Martha Crawford

FRANKLIN - Martha Carpenter Crawford, 84, passed peacefully Jan. 24, 2022, into the comfort of her Savior’s Eternity. She was surrounded by the warmth of love from her husband and three surviving children, Kim, Allen and Mandi. A private family service was held Saturday, Jan. 29.

Frederick Snell

FRANKLIN - Frederick Charles Snell, 71, passed away on Jan. 17, 2021. Fred was born in Wilmington, to the late Frederick Frank William Snell and Muriel Rae (Brendy) Brendemuhl Snell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, David Snell and Julie Snell.
