FRANKLIN - Thomas Ross Tolbert, M.D., 54, of died peacefully on Dec. 31, 2021, after a five-year struggle with melanoma. Tom was born on Oct. 3, 1967, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Julian Hudson Tolbert and Helen Ross Tolbert. He attended Sarah Smith Elementary School and Sutton Middle School.

Harvey Peacock

FRANKLIN - Harvey Len Peacock was born on Aug. 30, 1930, in St. Peters-burg, Florida, to James Dewey and Rinnie Kate Adcock Peacock. Harvey was a veteran, serving in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Robert Faust

FRANKLIN - Robert Wayne Faust, 68, formally of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on Jan. 3, 2022. Robert was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, to the late Edward William Faust and Nancy Lee Smith Faust. Robert graduated Englewood High school in Jack-sonville, Florida.

FRANKLIN - Dolores Agnes Nebot Ernst, 94, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022. Born in Palisades Park, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Julian and Mary Hendricks Nebot.

CLARKSTON, GEORGIA - Frances Dee (Anderson) Kitchens, passed away peacefully on Dec. 28, 2021, in Lilburn, Georgia. She was born Dec. 1, 1938, in Franklin to William Harry and Hattie Leona (Sprinkle) Anderson.

Hazel DuFour

FRANKLIN - Hazel Mae DuFour, 103, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 12, 2021. She was born in Young Harris, Georgia, to the late Leander Burrell and Texie Cheek Burrell on Oct. 7, 1918. Mom, as everyone knew her, grew up in Franklin but lived in many parts of the country.

Stephen Brock

FRANKLIN - Stephen L. Brock, 79, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 27, 2021, surrounded by his family. Mr. Brock was born in Gainesville, Florida, on Jan. 3, 1942, to the late Lonnie Junior Brock and Eula Steptoe Brock. He worked as an accountant for Eastern Airlines Inc.

Etta Breedlove

FRANKLIN - Etta Mae Posey Breedlove, 84, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022. Born in Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Henry and Martha Alice Moore Posey.
