FRANKLIN - Albert H. Weirick, 80, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022. He was born in Miami, Florida, to the late Joe and Beatrice Jones Weirick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Mason Weirick; brothers, James Weirick, Sonny Weirick and Clyde Weirick.

FRANKLIN - Pamela Faye “Mama Faye” Swanson, 76, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022. Macon Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.

Reggie Perry

FRANKLIN - Reggie Perry, 56, passed away on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022. Reggie was born in White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia, to the late Bud Perry and Patricia Perry. He moved to Franklin at a very young age. Reggie was friends with everyone in town. He was a jokester and enjoyed making people laugh.

FRANKLIN -   Marylou "Ms. M" Ragsdale Oudshoff, 90, passed away on Feb. 6, 2022. Moffitt Family Funeral Care is honored to serve Ms. M's family.

William Norris

FRANKLIN - William “Bill” Hyman Norris, 79, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022. Born in Macon County, he was the son of the late Alex and Beulah Rogers Norris.

Steve Miller

FRANKLIN - Steve Howard Miller, age 71, passed away on Monday, Feb. 7, 2022. Born on July 4, 1950, in Macon County, he is the son of the late Dover and Frankie (Tallent) Miller. Steve’s early passion in life was baseball. He played for the first Franklin Panthers baseball team.

Frank Mathis Jr.

FRANKLIN - Frank A. Mathis Jr. passed on to be with our Lord on Feb. 8, 2022, at the age of 89. He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida, to the late Frank A. Mathis Sr. and Mary Teresa McCormick Mathis. He attended Palm Beach High School, Palm Beach Junior College and Georgia State College.

Gordon Dills, Jr.

FRANKLIN - Gordon R. Dills Jr., a longtime Skagit County resident, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, at his home in Hamilton, Washington, surrounded by his loving family. Gordon was born on July 10, 1938, in Franklin, North Carolina, the son of Gordon H. Dills Sr. and Irma (Swann) Dills.

FRANKLIN - John Luther Chambers, 78, passed away on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022. He was born in Waynesville, to the late William Frank Chambers Sr. and Marjorie M. Lankford Chambers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Robert. G. Thompson.
