Track impresses at Rabun Gap

Panther track and field continues to round into midseason form. After a busy week of March 11, sending the bulk of their team to Montreat College and a few to the Adidas Indoor Nationals, on March 20 the Panthers competed much closer to home.

Golf routs Smoky at Franklin Golf Course

Panther men’s golf continues to rout their conference foes. On Wednesday, March 20, the team welcomed Smoky Mountain to the Franklin Golf Course for a match with both teams’ full rosters.

Women’s soccer wins thriller over East Henderson

Panther women’s soccer have earned their first win of the year. After playing just three games in their first three weeks, on March 18 Franklin kicked off the heart of their season, hosting East Henderson for their first of three conference games in five days.

Softball improves to 8-0

Panther softball remains undefeated in their first eight games. After beating their first five opponents by a combined score of 59-19, on the week of March 18 Franklin continued their barnstorming tour.

Men’s volleyball nets first wins

History was made on Tom Raby Court last week. After opening their inaugural season with a win at Enka, on the week of March 18 Panther men’s volleyball returned home, hosting Enka, T.C. Roberson and the Invest Collegiate Imagine School. In routing I.C.

An excellent season continues for Panther men’s golf. After a stellar start to the season, earning seven of eight possible team wins over their first four matches, on the week of March 11 Franklin faced another busy schedule.

It was a busy week for Panther track and field. In sending the bulk of their athletes to Montreat College and a few to the Adidas Indoor Nationals in Virginia Beach, Franklin’s coaches had plenty to keep track of this week.

Track wins WNC Kickoff at Western Carolina

Panther track and field are among WNC’s best teams. After opening their outdoor season in Toccoa, Georgia, March 1, on March 8 the Panthers traveled to Cullowhee for the WNC Kickoff Invitational.

Tennis falls to Tuscola, routs East

The season is underway for Panther men’s tennis. After a successful 2023, finishing second in the Mountain Seven Conference and playing in the state playoffs’ second round, on the week of March 4 Franklin finally returned to action.
