After being delayed since December, candidate filing for the 2022 election resumed on Friday, Feb. 24. Filing continues through Friday, March 4.
The statewide primary will be Tuesday, May 17. One-stop, in-person early voting will run April 28 through May 14 at 3 p.m.
Absentee ballots will be available beginning March 28. May 10 is the last day for civilians to request an absentee ballot for the primary. May 17 is the deadline to return civilian absentee ballots.
Voter registration deadline to vote in the statewide primary is April 22.
In local races, the sheriff’s seat and three county commissioner seats will be on the ballot in addition to clerk of court and register of deeds. The following candidates have filed as of press time on Tuesday.
