FRANKLIN – Grady Lee Passmore, 79, passed away March 8, 2021.  A service was held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Macon Funeral Home Chapel. The family received friends and family prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mt Zion Cemetery.

Linda Lee Mashburn Hedden

FRANKLIN – Linda Lee Mashburn Hedden, 80, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, March 13, 2021. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Irene Watts Mashburn.

William Franklin Dowdle

CLAYTON, GEORGIA – William Franklin Dowdle, 75, passed away on March 6, 2021. He was born Nov. 5, 1945, the son of the late Rufus Franklin Dowdle of Franklin, and the late Etta Louise Neely of Highlands. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Dowdle and Mary Ann Smith.

Patricia Ann Giddes Vinson

John (Jay) Quince Sanders

FRANKLIN – John (Jay) Quince Sanders, passed away at his home on Feb. 22 at age 91. Jay was born July 22, 1929 to Jesse L. and Ida F. (Shope) Sanders. He was a fifth generation Maconian who lived most of his life on the old family farm located in the vicinity of the north fork of Skeenah Creek.
