FRANKLIN – Carolyn Juanita Bates Emory, 77, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. Funeral Service was held Monday, April 19 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to one’s favorite charity. Macon Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Sandra Kay Campbell Dotherow

FRANKLIN – Sandra Kay Campbell Dotherow, 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 12, 2021. Sandra was born in Los Angeles, California, to the late Anna Catherine Mallard Campbell Langford.

Stanley Q. Coss

FRANKLIN – Stanley Q. Coss, was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, on April 2, 1938, to Clement J. Coss, a WWII Vet, and Ruth Craven Coss.  Stan entered the United States Army in 1958, retiring in 1980 as an Infantry Major, a Senior Parachutist, and a Senior Army Aviator.

Alvin Watson Jr.

FRANKLIN – Alvin Watson Jr., 70, died on Saturday, April 10, 2021 after a period of declining health. Born in Jackson County, Mr. Watson was the son of the late Hayes and Villa Mae Woodard Watson.

Dora Ann Vinson

OTTO – Dora Ann Vinson, 69, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. She was born May 10, 1951 in Macon County, to the late Grady Dalton and Edna Raby Dalton. Dora worked as a substitute teacher and was a housewife. She loved the warm weather, flowers and gardening.

Jim Parker

BOWERSVILLE, GEORGIA – Mr. James William “Jim” Parker Sr., 68, of Airline School Road in Bowersville, Georgia, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at his home. Born on June 14, 1952 in Clayton Georgia, he was the son of the late Arvel Parker and Mary Frances Dalrymple Parker.

Richard Thomas Merritt
