FRANKLIN – William Brian “Bo” Hedden, 52, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, June 26, 2021. Born in Jackson County, he was the son of Aaron Bruce and Sandra Queen Hedden. Bo worked with his dad and brother as a pump installer for Hedden Brothers Well Drilling.

Reverend Gary Wayne Buhl

FRANKLIN – Reverend Gary Wayne Buhl, 88, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021. Born in Corbin, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James Everett and Irene Arnold Bull.

Ronald William Bleier

FRANKLIN – Ronald William Bleier, 85, passed away on June 17, 2021. Ronald was born in Chicago, Illinois, to the late William and Helen Bleier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Dolores Trein; daughter, Sandra Helen Prisco; and his siblings.

Edwin Benkis

FRANKLIN – Edwin Benkis, born September 22, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, was the son of Russian immigrants. His mother, Manya Benkis-Schmidt (Michael) was an accomplished concert pianist. Father Arvid Benkis, was a former soldier, vocalist, and pressman.

Donna Marie Witte Reyn

FRANKLIN – Donna Marie Witte Reyns, 53, passed away, Tuesday, June 15, 2021. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Reyns family.

Erskine Venorris Monteith

OTTO – Erskine Venorris Monteith, 77, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday June 13, 2021. Born in Graham County on August 14, 1943, he was the son of the late Rev. Clyde and Hazel Monteith.

FRANKLIN – Ronald Kevin McCabe, 83, passed away June 13, 2021. Ronald was born in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Jay Inscho and Estelle McCabe.

Virginia Earles Houston

AMERICUS, GEORGIA – Virginia Earles Houston, 92, formerly of Franklin, died on Sunday, June 20, 2021. Born in Martinsville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Willie Jessie Earles and Mattie Cox Setliff.

Peggy Ann Clark

FRANKLIN – Peggy Ann Clark, 82, passed away on Saturday June 19, 2021. Born on November 11, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Dorothy Whalen of Derwood, Maryland. Peggy was a graduate of Richard Montgomery High School, class of 1956.

Kenneth Michael Cook

FRANKLIN – Kenneth Michael Cook, 55, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, June 17, 2021. Born in Macon County, he was the son of John and Susie Cook. Ken attended Prentiss Church of God and was known for his love of giving to charitable causes.
