FRANKLIN – Phylliss Rena Garrison, 37, passed away July 15, 2021. The family received friends on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Appalachian Animal Rescue at 851 Lake Emory Rd, Franklin, NC 28734. Macon funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.

FRANKLIN – Patricia Bryson Thompson, 74, went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Lydia “Eddie” Clark Bryson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Turner and J.L Bryson; and sister-in-law Mariea Bryson.

FERNANDINA BEACH, FLORIDA – Mildred Janette Bryson Lewis, 99, passed away peacefully with hospice on July 5, 2021, in her home. Mildred was born on July 4, 1922, in Franklin, to the late Thomas Newton Bryson and Ethel Leona (Evans) Bryson.

CLEMSON, SOUTH CAROLINA – James Michael Kinsland, born November 19, 1959, passed away July 2, 2021.  He was a graduate of Franklin High School and the University of Georgia (College of Pharmacy). He was preceded in death by his parents Bo and Nora Jean Kinsland.

FRANKLIN – Linda Boswell Kenaston, 75, of the Nantahala Lake community, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2021. Born in Tarboro, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late A.J. and Ila Ruth Davis Boswell.
