Fall officially arrived on Sunday, Sept. 22. On Monday morning crews from the Town of Franklin and the LBJ Job Corps were out decorating the public spaces along Main Street, the roundabouts and the entrances to town.

A Franklin man is facing charges after allegedly making a bomb threat to the Macon County courthouse on Friday.
According to the Macon County Sheriff’s Office, the call to the deputy clerk came in at 9:47 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, of a bomb threat to the third floor of the courthouse.
