FRANKLIN - Frank Thornton Saunders, 98, passed away Tuesday Feb. 25, 2020 at a local hospital. Frank was born to the late Charles Henry Saunders and Mamie Dowdle Saunders on March 18, 1921.

Rosalee Wyatt Gibson

WAYNESVILLE - Rosalee “Rosie” Wyatt Gibson, 82, passed away Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, at Autumn Care Nursing and Rehab. Rosie was born in Macon County on Feb. 26, 1937 to the late Vernal and Reba McCoy Wyatt.  She enjoyed gardening, canning and walking.

Mary P. Cathey

FRANKLIN - Mary P. Cathey, 70, passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020.  Services will be held at a later date.  Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. 

Audrey Crum Williams

OTTO - Audrey Crum Williams, 92, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020. A funeral service was held Saturday, Feb. 15 at Coweeta Baptist Church. The Rev. Keith Ashe officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. The family received friends Friday, Feb. 14 at Macon Funeral Home.

Lee Roy Stiwinter

FRANKLIN - Lee Roy Stiwinter, 81, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020. A funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 17 in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. The Revs. Phillip Cochran, Charles Reed and Davis Hooper officiated. Burial was in the Riverview United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Willie Kay Seagle

OTTO - Willie Kay Seagle, 74, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020 at her home. A graveside service was held Saturday, Feb. 15, 2020 at Newman’s Chapel Cemetery with Minister Radford Penland officiating. The family received friends Friday, Feb. 14, 2020 at Bryant-Grant Funeral Home and Crematory.

Rhonda Wooten Riddle

FRANKLIN - Rhonda Wooten Riddle, 63, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020. A memorial service was held at 7 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15 in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Dr. Tommy Jordan and the Rev. Charles Stevens officiated. The family received friends prior to the service at the funeral home.

MARBLE - Lisa Kay Jacobs, 55, passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2020. A private service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020 at the Ivie Funeral Home in Andrews. Ivie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Lou Huscusson

FRANKLIN - Mary Lou Huscusson, 75, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2020. Born in Canton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Dorothy Ott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Quince Huscusson. Mary was a Christian by faith.

Leonard Joseph Flory

FRANKLIN - Leonard Joseph Flory 81, formerly of Clayton, Georgia, passed away at his residence in Franklin on Feb. 11, 2020 after a brief illness.  He was born on Feb. 8, 1939 in South Mound, Kansas, to Bill and Ann Flory. Leonard spent his childhood years growing up in Independence, Missouri.
