Betty Sue Guyer Bukowsky

FRANKLIN – Mrs. Betty Sue Guyer Bukowsky, 86, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in Franklin, NC. A Funeral service was  held Sunday, May 24, 2020  in the Chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home. Burial  followed in the Iotla Baptist Church Cemetery.

Charmian Martin Williams

Charmian Williams, a resident of Western North Carolina since 1998, passed away on May 16 in Asheville. She was 93.  Known by “Charm” since childhood, she was born in DeKalb County, GA, on September 18, 1926, the daughter of Jeanne Nevius Martin and T. Marion Martin. Both her parents are deceased.

Daniel Caleb Pait

Daniel “Caleb” Pait, 31, of Franklin, died Thursday, May 14, 2020 due to complications of an automobile accident in Jackson County, North Carolina. Caleb was born on March 28, 1989 in Knoxville TN, to Ernie and Becky Workman Pait and had lived most of his life in the Macon County area.

David Lewis Mashburn

FRANKLIN – David Lewis Mashburn, 94, of Franklin, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 16, 2020 surrounded by his wife, daughters, and son-in-law. Born in Macon County, NC, he was the son of the late Grady and Jane Henry Mashburn.

Donald “Don” Calvin Huscusson

FRANKLIN – Mr. Donald “Don” Calvin Huscusson, 85, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020 in Sylva, NC. Don was born in Macon County on Nov. 10, 1934 to the late Calvin Huscusson and Bertha Roper Huscusson. He worked for General Motors in Pontiac Michigan from 1953 to 1960.

Clara Kathryn Fisher

Clara Kathryn Fisher was was taken to heaven while sleeping peacefully on May 14, 2020. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 23, at 11 a.m. at Clarks Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Bryant-Grant Funeral Home is serving the Fisher family.  

Steve “Andy” Anderson

FRANKLIN – Steve “Andy” Anderson, 67, passed away on May 15, 2020 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC following a brief illness.

FRANKLIN – Patricia Greene Wishon, 78, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020. Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Ronald Martin Schott

Ronald Martin Schott, 79, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on Monday, May 4, 2020.  Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, Ron was born Aug. 14, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Martin Henry and Vera Louise Schott.  Ron proudly served in the U.S.
