Chiropractor charged with sexual battery

A Franklin chiropractor has been charged with four counts of sexual battery involving patients. Erik Romer Madsen, 59, who operates Mountain View Chiropractic & Wellness Center on Sloan Road, was arrested Nov. 15 and released after posting a $10,000 bond.

Habilities helping exceptional students

Every Wednesday and Friday morning for the past two months, high school senior Ethan Hitchcock has gone to work at Modern Barber Shop. He sweeps up hair, washes the windows, deep cleans the bathroom and takes care of a lot of the tasks that the rest of the staff often find themselves too busy for.

Infrastructure work underway at two roundabout sites
