Baseball fights for 3A berth

With just two more games to play, Panther baseball is still alive for a state playoff berth. Entering the last two weeks of the season, Franklin hung on the edge of the 3A West field, likely needing three wins in their last four games to join its top 32 teams.

Softball ranked 6th in region

Panther softball is heating back up at the right time. Entering the last five games of the season, Franklin stood at 10th in the 3A West rankings, with another busy week of contests on deck.

Doubles pairs advance to regional

Panther men’s tennis will be represented at the 3A West Individual Tournament. On April 24 and 25, the Mountain Seven gathered at Jackson Park in Hendersonville for a two-day conference tournament.

Golf tees off M7 Tournament in 2nd

The Mountain Seven Conference Men’s Golf Tournament is underway. As one of the conference’s best teams throughout the season, on April 22 Franklin teed off their postseason.

Golf tees off M7 Conference Tournament

The Mountain Seven Conference men’s golf tournament is underway. Throughout the spring season, Ryan Raby’s team has been among the region’s best, boasting a deep and talented roster from top to bottom.

Track prepares for M7C title meet

Panther track and field are officially in championship season. On April 20, the team traveled to A.C. Reynolds for their final meet of the regular-season, battling more than 40 elite teams at the Rockets’ Blue Ridge Classic.

The good times keep rolling for Panther softball. On the week of April 15 Franklin faced a busy slate of games, including Mountain Seven contests with Tuscola, North Henderson and Pisgah.

Baseball falls to Pisgah, routs Smoky Mountain

It was a mixed week for Panther baseball. Entering the week of April 8 on a two-game win streak, Franklin faced a pair of Mountain Seven Conference foes, hosting Pisgah and traveling to Smoky Mountain.

Golf wins matches in Henderson, Clayton

Panther men’s golf is entering the final part of their season. Following a stellar first half of the year, Franklin returned from spring break with a full week of rest, and matches in Hendersonville and Clayton, Georgia on the docket.

Track impresses at Rabun Gap

Panther track and field is entering the home stretch. One week after taking on many of the region’s best teams in Seneca, South Carolina, on April 13 Franklin traveled to Rabun Gap for a more intimate affair.
