She loved to sing and was a big fan of southern gospel and country music.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two nephews, Mark Zimmerman and Ryan Zimmerman; 10 great-nieces and nephews; one great-great niece; and special family members, Wanda Pritchett, Donna Seibert, Mary Gregory and Randy Gregory. She is preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Elaine Allen Zimmerman.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 2, at the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Pastors Gary McCoy and Guy Duvall officiated. Burial followed at Snowhill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mark Zimmerman, Ryan Zimmerman, Adam Burrell, Joe Allen, Keith Henry and Randy Gregory served as pallbearers.
