FRANKLIN – Sydney G. March passed away at age 93 on June 1, 2021. Our “Good Syd” was born in Cambridge Massachusetts to parents Sydney H. March and Edith Clark March. An incredibly hard working man who was a jack of all trades, he retired from San-Vel in Littleton Massachusetts. As a young man he loved to ride horses. He was a real cowboy at heart. His two sisters, Myrtice and Viola preceded him in death. They adored their little brother and called him “Buster”.
Syd moved to the mountains of Franklin in 1992, with the love of his life Billie Love March. They were married for 44 years. In Franklin he was a long time member of Wells Grove Baptist Church. He served as a Deacon and was active in his church community, carried by his faith.
He is survived by his children Cheryl, Patricia and Sydney. Also father to four step-children, eight grandchildren and many great -grandchildren.
Services were held at 3 p.m. June 5 at Wells Grove Baptist Church.
