FRANKLIN - Neal M. Roper, 70, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, surrounded by family and friends at Solace Hospice Center in Asheville.
He was born in Franklin to Joe and Mary Roper.
Neal is predeceased by his father.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharon Roper; his mother, Mary Roper; two sons, Gavin (Elen), and Garrett; brother Keith Roper (Becky); and sister Awa Wright (Terry.)
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Prentiss Bridge Road.
