FRANKLIN – Leah Tolz Abbott Miller, 95, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021.
Leah was born on Jan. 31, 1926, to the late Harry Aaron and Netty Bialick Tolz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Hank Miller; and brother Avram Tolz.
Leah attended Mountain Synagogue, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and enjoyed tutoring in math and reading. She worked her last job at the Walmart snack bar in Franklin and retired at 75.
She is survived by her children, Sandra R Williams of Franklin, Jeanice Riles (Ernie) of Sylva, and Larry Abbott (Cary) of Minneola, Florida; sister, Estelle Joseph of Sunrise, Florida; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021, from noon to 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1:15 at Franklin Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 71 Brendle Rd, Franklin NC 28734.
