FRANKLIN - Kenneth Paul Blaine, 60, passed away Jan. 2, 2023. Born in Franklin, on June 14, 1962, he was the son of Paul and Epsie Kirkland Blaine.
Kenneth served his country as a member of the United States Army. He earned a living by working in excavation for Lewis Penland’s company for many years as a heavy equipment/heavy hauler operator.
In his spare time, Kenneth was an avid outdoorsman. He was a trapper as well as a hunter. He enjoyed fly fishing and backpacking along with archery. Starting in the spring, he spent time raising a garden. He enjoyed the outside world and truly took pleasure in any outdoor activity.
Kenneth was predeceased by his wife, Linda Queen Blaine; father, Paul Blaine; and brother, Bud Blaine. He is survived by his mother, Epsie Blaine of Franklin; half-sister, Shirley; children, April Blaine (Matt) of Franklin and Brandon Blaine of Sylva; and grandchildren, Chloe, Sadie and Shelby.
