GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA - John Garrison Greene, 36, died Thursday, July 23, 2020.
Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of Jane Allison G. Greene and Victor Greene and his wife, Janet.
John was known for his sense of humor and wit. He was thoughtful and intense, yet sensitive. He was a graduate of the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina and was a huge Gamecock fan.
In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his sister, Megan Roberts and husband, Hayes of Athens Georgia; step-sister, Lori Long and partner, Chad Williams of Franklin; step-brother, Jason Long and wife Mary, of Greenville; known as the favorite uncle to, Millie and Jane Roberts, Abi and May Long, and Haelan and Ashwin Long; his loving girlfriend Jennifer Childs of Greenville; three aunts, Lynn Miller and husband, Alex of Marion,, North Carolina; Shawn Sutton and husband, Jim of Black Mountain, North Carolina and Gail Greene; and beloved furry child Pippen Greene.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Sara Garrison, paternal grandparents, Victor and Merrily Greene; and an uncle, Daniel Greene.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at noon in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
