FRANKLIN – Jo Ann Raulerson Sloan passed away Dec. 22, 2020 at Grandview Manor in Franklin. A third generation Floridian, she was born in Ft. Pierce, Florida on July 22, 1930 to Alfred Keightley and Mae Pearce Raulerson. Jo Ann was raised by her fraternal grandparents, Frank and Louise Raulerson, who had a large cattle ranch, and were among the early settlers to southern Florida.

Jo Ann is survived by her two daughters, Kathryn Blanton and Debra Sloan, of Franklin, four granddaughters, eight great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.

Jo Ann made her home in Macon County in 1970 and loved the Tellico Valley. She was gracious, loving to all, a fantastic cook, and a memorable woman. She loved Tellico and welcomed all who came to visit at the “big house and big tree”.

Jo Ann Sloan will be missed by her family and friends, who were blessed to have had her in their lives.
