FRANKLIN - Janice Kay Heflin, 81, of Maryville, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023. She was born on Jan. 25, 1941, in Franklin and graduated from Franklin High School in 1959. She spent many years as the office manager for the Armed Forces Club at the Air National Guard Base in Louisville, Tennessee. She enjoyed sudoku puzzles, playing skip bo with her friends and family, and sharing laughter with her loved ones.
She is survived by brother, Gerald Sanders; and sister, Jean Mills, both of Franklin; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Debbie Hardin, son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Angie Heflin; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Michael Lambdin; and claimed son, Jim Hardin and wife Laura. Janice found great joy in her grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Zach, Justin, Miranda, Leslie, Megan and Jesse; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13 at Alcoa-Maryville Church of God with a memorial gathering following with Pastor Paul Dyar officiating.
