FRANKLIN – James Lewis ‘J.L.’ Carver, 73, passed away Feb. 9, 2021.
Mr. Lewis was born in Macon County to the late Willard and Bertha Phillips Carver. In addition to his parents, J.L. was preceded in death by his brother, Bud Carver.
J.L. was a lifelong resident of Macon County and a Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pauline Williamson Carver; daughters, Amy Carver of Franklin and Kimberly Davis (Shone) of Sylva; sister, Ann Perkins of Lenior, North Carolina; and grandchildren, Dustin Queen of Franklin, Jolie Davis of Sylva and Emsley Davis of Sylva.
Due to COVID-19, no services are planned at this time.
