FRANKLIN - Surrounded by his family, Hunter Caden Matthew Davis, 6, ran into the arms of Jesus on the morning of Monday, July 20, 2020.

Our lives were forever changed on November 7, 2013 when Hunter was born, and with him came the meaning of true, unconditional love. His life was spent loving; being around all the children in his family, being outside, being rocked, being read to and his stuffed horse all brought him immense joy.  Hunter touched many lives; he will not be forgotten, and his legacy of love will live on in those who choose to love just as Jesus loves us.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Richard and Rebecca Davis; grandparents, Imogene Allen Davis (Troy William Davis, predeceased grandfather) of Franklin and John Morris (Rhonda) of Atlanta, Texas (Brenda Morris, predeceased grandmother); great grandmother, Lois Morris of Little Rock, Arkansas; brother, Richard William Davis (Megan) of Shaw Air Force Base, Sumter, South Carolina; four sisters, Kimberly McAllister (Will) of Franklin, Melissa Crisp (Roy) of Franklin, Chasitiy Houston (Ian) of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Summer Davis of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and nieces and nephews, Allison, Cayson, Creedence, Cullen, Landon, Hannah, Gabriel, Callie, Addy, Evalyn, Aiden and Matias. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral Service was held at 3 p.m., Saturday, July 25 at the Franklin Church of God. Rev. Michael Stephens, Rev. Hank Connors, Rev. Jeremy Chapman and Rev. Steve Reeves officiated. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family received friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service at the Franklin Church of God.

Pallbearers were Will McCallister, William Davis, Roy Crisp and Cecil Brooks.
