WILTON, CONNECTICUT – Grace E. Hill, 97, passed peacefully away on Jan. 7, 2021 at The Greens in Wilton Connecticut. Born on Sept. 16, 1923 in New Jersey to the late William and Hazel Lamon, she was the third oldest of 13 brothers and sisters.

Married to the love of her life, Charles (Chuck) Hill Jr., they spent a wonderful 62 years together until his passing in Feb. 2018. Grace cherished her family and is survived by her daughter Bonnie Boyles and her children Billy Boyles, Kelly Bartholf and Kristy Moriarity; her son Chuck Hill and his wife Cathy and their children Laura and Krysta Hill. She was preceded in death by her son Robie Hill. Grace was also blessed with 8 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

During her husband’s career in the Air Force, Grace and Chuck lived on many Air Force bases throughout the US as well as in Okinawa, Japan, but they proudly called Franklin their home for over 30 years. Grace was a long time member of Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church and a dedicated volunteer at the Angel Hospital Gift Shop where she was recognized for donating over 21,500 hours of her time as well as hundreds of her handmade afghan baby blankets. Additionally, she was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Franklin and the Gems Women’s Auxillary of Smoky Mountain Shriners.
