FRANKLIN - Golda “June” Yates Robbins, 73, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

Born in Erwin, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Pauline Randell Yates. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Henry Robbins; siblings, Barbara Casey and Brenda Yates; granddaughters, Alyssa Winfield and Nicole Davis.

June loved antiquing, gardening, yard sales, flea markets and raising pot belly pigs, but what she loved most was time spent with her family.

She is survived by sons, Tim Hill (Virginia) of Franklin, Hank Hill (Billie) of Sophia and Byron Hill (Marcella) of Asheboro; daughters, Kim Metcalf (James) of Franklin, Tammy Reynolds of Franklin and Dawn Loflin (Will Simmons) of Thomasville; and stepchildren, Maurice “Bunky” Robbins and Edna “Peanut” Robbins, both of Archdale; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Lenard Yates, David Yates and Frankie Yates; sisters, Gracie Burrell and Julie Bryant; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 10 at Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., prior to the service at Macon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Davidson County Hospice or WNC Hospice House Foundation.
