FRANKLIN - Geralene Stiwinter Henry, 83, passed away on May 14, 2022, after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Bessie Stiwinter and the wife of the late Howell Henry. Geralene retired from Macon County School System as a teacher. She loved traveling and reading books. She is at home now with her Lord.
Geralene is survived by brothers, Lavaughn Stiwinter (Karen) and Dean Stiwinter; daughter, Sherry Vinson (Ronnie); son, Chris Henry and the late Jill Mann Henry; grandchildren, Ashley Vinson Webb (Nathan), Katelyn Vinson and Evan Henry (Andrea); great-grandchildren, Anna, Austin and Andrew Webb; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held at Thursday, May 19 at the chapel of Bryant Grant Funeral Home. Rev. Don Moffit officiated. Burial followed at the Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation was from 2 to 3 p.m. at Bryant Grant Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the St. Jude’s Foundation or Adult & Teen Challenge of the Smokies.
