FRANKLIN - Frank T. Smith, 83, of Woodstock, Georgia, entered heaven on Tuesday, July 19, 2022.
Frank T. Smith was born on March 14, 1939, in Franklin. Mr. Smith served four years in United States Air Force, working on B-52s. He also worked for the O’Brien Corp. for 25 years as a national sales manager. During his time with O’Brien Corp., he won numerous awards and enjoyed being able to travel.
Mr. Smith was a member of Roswell Street Baptist Church, where he had worked in the nursery and was a greeter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Margaret Jarrell Smith; daughters, Sonya (Larry) Young and Erica (Eric) Eaton; sisters, Jane Post and Margaret Gearin; grandchildren, Miranda Young, Dylan Eaton, Jude Eaton and Presley Eaton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held on Friday, July 22 in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home, in Marietta, Georgia. Burial took place on Saturday, July 23 at Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens in Cochran, Georgia.
