CLAYTON – Dan Andrew Wilson, 58, passed away on July 28, 2021.
Danny was born in Jackson County to Bonnell Carver Wilson and the late Andrew M. Wilson.
Danny was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed flying and had a pilot’s license, and loved working with fireworks as a pyrotechnician. Some of his other hobbies include playing the guitar, reading the bible, and taking walks.
He is survived by his wife Renay Wilson of Clayton, Georgia; mother, Bonnell Wilson of Sylva; sister Charlene Wilson Hooks (Tom) of Sylva; and nephews, Drew Hooks, and Matthew Hooks (Emily).
The family received friends and loved ones at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, at Macon Funeral Home.
A service was held at 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, at Macon Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiated. Burial followed at Zion Hill.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Ledford, Drew Hooks, Matthew Hooks, Tom Hooks, Gage Ledford, and Michael Leatherwood.
