FRANKLIN - Carol Ann Johnston, 81, passed away May 30, 2020. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Winifred and Charles Johnston.
At the age of 7 she and her parents moved to the Panama Canal Zone, where her father worked for the government, documenting ships coming into the port.
After leaving the Canal Zone they moved to Kissimee, Florida, where she entered Osceola High School. After graduation she returned to Cleveland to attend business school.
Returning to Florida, she worked for Sprint and Lockheed Martin, working in the accounting departments. She also taught bookkeeping at a community college.
She was a member of the order of the Eastern Stars. Carol moved to Mill Creek in Franklin in 2001. For 13 years she enjoyed the companionship of her dog Briget.
