FRANKLIN - Ann C. Sanders, 69, passed away Sept. 20, 2022.
Ann was born in Marshall, to the late Merritt and Edna Fender Crain. She was an engineering technician in the automotive industry. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She loved cutting grass and spending time with her grandchildren, Justin and Brooke Sims.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, MaryLou, Reva and Diane; and grandson, Anthony McCall. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Stan Sanders of Franklin; son, Tony McCall of Asheville; daughter, Melinda (Darrin) Sims of Fletcher; brothers, Herschel Crain, Edward Crain (Joyce) and Keith Crain; sisters, Ginger Cox (David), Maxine Loop and Shelia Davis (Donnie); two grandchildren, Justin and Brooke Sims of Fletcher; and several nieces and nephews.
The family received friends on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Macon Funeral Home. A graveside service was held on Saturday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m. at Prentiss Baptist Church Cemetery.
