For the first time in the years-long Franklin High School concept process, the public will see what has been conceptualized and can offer their input from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, at the Robert C. Carpenter Community Building.
LS3P Senior Vice President Paul Boney said they will have schematics, renderings, floor plans, site plans, interior renderings and potentially virtual reality tours at the event.
The community input session will be “drop-in” style, meaning there’s no speech or presentation, rather people can show up anytime during the four hours, ask questions and get responses from the architects.
Paul Boney, senior vice president for LS3P, said his team will be on hand to answer the public’s questions.
“We want to have a discussion with each of the people that come,” Boney said. “We think it’s a great forum for people to come out and share ideas and listen to some of our ideas and have a good discussion.”
County Commissioner Josh Young asked about a virtual tour, to which Boney replied they could do that.
“I hope we pack the place and I’ll stay there all night until their questions are answered,” Boney said. “This is a generational project for this area.”
