Norma Bennett-Lange, 85, of Franklin passed away Monday, March 25, 2019.
Born in Poughkeepsie, New York, she was the daughter of the late Karl Otto Wilke and Elizabeth Wilke Konopka. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Karla Young.
Norma attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Waynesville and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the Knights of Columbus. She loved pets, birds, and gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Dan Lange of Franklin; children, John Bennett Jr. of Magnolia, Arkansas, Diane Dodge of Daytona Beach, Florida, Susan Wall of Mt. Dora, Florida, Patriacia Cusimano of Gainesville, Florida, Stephen Bennett of Apopka, Florida, Kimberly Ratts of Hialeah Florida, Michelle Schwartz of Stokesdale, North Carolina, Douglas Lange of Jacksonville, Florida and Christopher Lange of Hayesville; 24 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 4 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Franklin. Father Tien Duong will officiate.
