Lola Helen Wilson
Lola Helen Wilson, 65, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016.
She was born in Macon County, the daughter of Ethel Lois Jones Waldroop of Franklin and the late Oran Roosevelt Waldroop. She was a homemaker, she loved to fish and was a member of Tellico Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Edith Tallent (Kenny) of Franklin and Jennifer Loving (Phillip) of Blountville, Tennessee; sons, George Jenkins (Tonda) and Daniel Jenkins (Judy), all of Franklin; brother, James Lee Waldroop; and 11 grandchildren and 10 great‑grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a half‑brother, Charles Monroe Bateman.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 28. in the chapel of Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home with Rev. Gary McCoy and Rev. Morris Tippett officiating. The family received friends Monday prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tellico Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Sherry Ammons, 36 Icenhower Dr., Franklin, NC 28734.
