Susan Simpson

FRANKLIN, NC – Susan Mize Simpson, 84, of Daytona Beach, Florida, and Franklin passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Arthur Simpson; her four children, Phil Henderson (Sharon), Jeannie Terrell, (Stuart), David Henderson (Judy), Max Henderson Jr. (Leann); nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was a devoted mother and “Nana” and enjoyed both a career in retail and as a homemaker.

We would like to add a special thank you to her devoted and loving caretaker Valerie Altiery and her family. They have provided our mom with love and dedication for the last two years.
