OTTO – Franklin Alex Palmroos of Otto passed suddenly of heart failure on March 29, 2021. He was born on February 25, 1943, in Binghamton, New York, to the late Alex and Ruth Palmroos. He spent most of his career working as a service tech for IBM corporation.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joan; son, Franklin F. Palmroos; daughter Rachel, and son Grant, all of Huntersville, North Carolina; daughter, Jody Palmroos of Key West and her daughter Cricket (Mike) Luna and their daughter Kaydence of Roseville, California; and son, Michael of Cohos, New York.
He is also survived by stepdaughter, Connie (Mark) Scheunemann and their daughter Allyson, of Millville, Pennsylvania; stepson, Thomas (Mary) Miller of Pace, Florida and their daughter Melissa (Micky) Caudell and children Shannon, Sawyer, and Saydee of Milton, Florida; and Kinsey (Garrett) Monday, of Mobile, Alabama.
Franklin was happiest either working on or driving his classic cars. He was laid to rest in Endicott, New York.
